Hi

You need to explain more clearly. What happens? Will the engine shut off? Will the engine run but without normal power?

If your bike runs OK when cold but starts to lose power and cut out after a few minutes of running your problem might be electrical. Faulty electrical components can/will work normally when cold but fail when they heat up. A typical example of his is a faulty ignition coil. A bike with a faulty ignition coil can run normally for a few minutes and then start to cut out..

I agree with G 600. My XT 600 starts fine and then power fades when warm. Finding the problem when cold is useless as the components respond as though they are in working order. My problem was eventually the pick-ups on the stator generator.
