dual headlight shaking apart

hi,

does anybody have experience with the dual headlights of a 3AJ? I have serious trouble keeping the mountings in one piece. Both lights are shaking all the time and are making lots of noise. By now its impossible adjust anything any more because all the nuts, screws and holes are worn.
Any solutions?

Peter

This is causing me serious grief also. My latest headlight bulb lasted 300 miles before vibrating apart. Solution may be to replace all bolts and springs with new items after re-threading captive nuts.

Trouble with old bikes is, everything is old :-(

Unfortunately, heat and UV degrade le plastics, particularly that of fairings ..a way to solve the problem of worn "screw holes" is to drop some epoxy glue and then re-bore them ..even finding some used pieces does not solve the problem, and the new ..if avalaible are very costly!

other solution : remove and substition with aftermarket UFO or ACERBIS parts...normally easily adaptables (even if terrific for esthetic..)
