Difference between TT and XT engines ?
 

Hi folks

Do the TT and the XT have the same engine, or are the engines completely different?
(I'm thinking about recent models (after 98)

Not a simple question ...
in general TT vs XT of same period:
TT "Made in Japan" 59X (1983-92?) different Camshaft profile, Chromed barrel, different primary reduction,same compression ratio 8,5:1
TTE Belgarda - same motor of XTE 3TB but with Teikei Y27PV carburettor instead of Y26PV - Shorter secudary ratio
TTR Belgarda : Chromed barrel, kick-start only, piston & camshaft same as older TT, compression ratio 9,5:1 , Carburettor Teikei Y30PV
