Hi, I also need to register the bike in this country does anyone know how I can get a certificate proving the age of the bike? Thanks.:confused1:

Don't you have the registration of the bike? :eek3: it should be stated date of the first license or something like that.. or go to a Yamaha dealer and ask...

When I needed to date an old Honda XR to register it (it was imported from SA as an off-road bike), I wrote to Honda UK enclosing a "search fee". After a couple of weeks I recieved a letter stating the bike's year of manufacture.

Maybe Yamaha would do the same.
