Chain length?
Hi all,I've been rebuilding my 43f XT600 and now I need a new drive chain,I've already got new sprockets so I do'nt need a kit, however, before I threw it out I forgot to write down how many links were on the old chain. So could someone please tell me how many links I need for a 43f XT600 on standard gearing.
thanks Mark |
A 2003 model has 106 links. It uses 15-45 gearing, perhaps that could tune you in :)

My 2002's new chain on std gearing has 106 links.

Thanks for the replies,I've got a clymer manual and thought the chain length would be in specifications section,WRONG!
I think the moral from this is, when you've got the information in front of you, write it down... |
