CDI Coil - 2 terminals instead of 1
http://www.bandit127.com/images/IMAG0148.jpg
By mistake, I bought a coil of ebay that has 2 terminals instead of 1 for my 43F. The description was fair (it didn't mention model types or the number of terminals, just the appropriate year range) so I am going to take it on the chin. However, for testing purposes, can I swap my current coil and HT lead with it? I am assuming that 1 teminal is earth (this is connected through the laminated core on my current coil) and 1 terminal is live (to be fed by the orange wire). If so, which one is which (1 connector has black insulation at the base of the spade). TIA. Jim |
That one is for the XT-e model... well, at least that's the same as mine!
Although If I reckon well, the positive one is the smaller one. At least that's where I jumped the positive lead for the trailtech vapor tach cable and it works flawlessly as opposed with the other lead.. If you search the electical scheme for the XT600E you'll be able to figure out with 100% certainty. Still, I really doubt that one will work for ya.. Vando beer |
