On a brighter note - My 1970 Trumpet has a single carb with a bell mouth fitted. I had some decent MX air filter foam which I cut and fixed inside the bell mouth, using wire to hold it against the mesh.
A few week later I had to take the carb off - and upon undoing the bell mouth, I noticed the foam was GONE :oops2:

The engine had EATEN it... not a sign of it :confused1: No ill effect though :thumbup1:
