Batteries Whats best?
 
Hi all, looking for a decent battery for my 3aj, anyone got any suggestions? the one thats in it is just over a year old and even after being kept on an optimiser charger thingy, well its f*$*ed!! not looking anything really expensive, just up to the job. cheers T

Try mdsbattery.co.uk they supply batteries for most bikes, prices are reasonable too. got a battery from them for my dr350 last year (varta make) excellent value for money and just as good as a yuasa.

I usually fit the biggest capacity that will fit the space thats available.

If your battery is goosed after only 12 months then I would seriously look at your charging system.

Unless your charger is an intelligent charger, you shouldnt premanently leave it on charge.


As for replacements, Odyssey batterys are the BEST !! (although £80)

I just put in PartsUnlimited from a local dealer. $20. Amazing how much brighter my headlight is.

'Course I had to sink $50 into a BatteryMinder, but according to what I read, it should be a good investment and I shouldn't have your one year old battery problems.
