Advice needed on XT600E rebuild
 

Hi, I've bought a big box of bits and a rolling chassis that should add up to a 1990 XT600E.
I'm at the stage where I've just cleared a load of dust, rust, petrol grit, fungus and other crap out of the carbs, and now want to fit them.
I've got two big bore pipes and don't know where they plug onto. One is on the carb, fitted to a right angled metal pipe which applies pressure to the slide diaphragm. It has what appears to be a small in line filter on the loose end.
The other is a crankcase breather.
Can anyone please advise where they attach?

The one with the filter just dangles. It's a breather. The other (assuming it's the crankcase breather), plugs into the air box.
