'91 XT600e bigger tank.

I have trawled though this section but cannot find anything to explain why Acerbis list a tank for the XT600e from '95 onwards, but not for '90 -'95.
What is the difference?
I am not afraid of making brackets etc.

The later tanks will fit on the earlier XT using the supplied brackets but the tank shape is designed to suit the later type side panels and seat which are a different shape. So to fit a later tank you will need to sort out getting later type seat/ side panels.

Thanks, I thought something like that would work.

I see there is (or was) a 20 Ltr Acerbis tank for the '90-'95 XT600e and that would be big enough for my needs, but there don't seem to be any about now.
If anybody has one spare, I'd be glad of it.
I could use the later 23Ltr tank, without resorting to a new seat and new side panels as well, by having the existing seat remodeled to fit neatly to the bigger tank, and maybe getting better comfort on the way.

Used ones for the 90-95 model pop up fromt ime to time, but theyre pretty rare.

You can fit the newer ones, together with seat, sidepanels and rear fender from the newer ones, which gets kinda expensive.
