90xt 600 ign switch
 

My ign key switch seems to not be working all the time, I have to play with it for the lights to come on and start. Any way to take apart and clean contacts or put contact cleaner inside key switch. Seems like part discontinued any help or suggestions thanks

Remove screw under for cover and take it apart, use crc electro cleaner. If its not working buy aftermarked its not expensive.

After market any suggestions? Thanks

I thought there was 3 wires not 4 wires which the new one has also looks like the connector is different. I guess I can take the wires out of the connector and install in the old connector. And ring out the wires to install In connector

Ok mine was same plug, doesnt matter if you have 3 wires and there is 4, easy fix, connect what you need, plug you have.
