43f and dj02 - Same flywheel?
 

Hey, does the old 43f have the same flywheel as my xt600e from 2003? (size,, weight, timing marks and so on)

Is it the same part?

converting from kick version 3TB 1990 XT600K to XT600E, same engine code 3TB, you need to replace flywheel (they r different) i'm pretty confident that maybe 43F\3TBK flywheel could be adapted, but NOT E version.

Reason of this question? :innocent:

A guy i know has a 43f, and he removed just under 700grams of weight from his flywheel, and said i could borrow it to see if we should do the same on mine.

His flywheel weiged around 3000grams stock, so 600-700gram of would be really nice.

I'll guess i'll wait to see what he thinks, and then make the descition based on his feel.
