3yf tenere ignition wires, how many??
 

Hi all,

I have finally got my ignition switch off and it seems it has more wires than most....

i have 2 separate connectors. 1 has a red and a brown wire and the other has 4 x blue.

the problem is that all switches listed for this model have just 4 wires!!!

anyone know what hell is going on as even my workshop manual shows 4 wires.

please help!!!!

well just so the info is on here if you have a late tenere and it has two connectors rather than the standard one then you will need an xj600 diversion ignition swich and they sell them at wemoto.com £46.00 :D

Some of the pattern switchs for the 3AJ have the right number of wires but are too short, also the stearing lock does not work.
Dave Lambeth usually has the correct switches in stock.

just been sorting through the old front end of my 1996 xt600e & that has six wires 2 blue 2 black and the red & brown wires, but that originally was in one connector plug i've seen them for about £20 ish
