3ux exhaust
 

What should I do if I wanted to change exhaust system (part of rear subframe)? Some hardness modifications on rear subframe?
I ride Yamaha XT 600E 1991.(3ux) If I put exhaust pipe (not original) I will probably miss some bolts on rear frame. Thank you

I replaced the stock muffler on my XT600E (1995) with a Super Trapp IDS2.
I think it's same as a 3AJ on other worlds, the muffler body is a stressed part of the bike's frame on the right side.

Super Trapp included a frame piece to bolt in place of the muffler.

basically a pc of tubing with an eye welded top and bottom to bolt into the same spots as the stock muffler.
