3AJ00 and 3TB same stators?
 

Any one know if the 3aj and 3tb run the same stators? (electric start model)

different.

they have different resistance, so they r surely different.

Stators definitely not the same: 3AJ - CDI ignition with charge coil for the ignition & 2 pickups. 3TB - TCI ignition, no charge coil for ign and 1 pickup.

should be approx. 160 to 180 Euros (according to prices on homepage, excl. freight), nice and friendly service, warranty. I used them more than one time - even CDI-repairs for XT.

Saw them but way to expensive, would work out to be $300 aud. Ive found a site in the UK that sells them for $144 shipped to my door in Australia.

or you could give it a go and try it yourself. Not rocket science. Just time and care. Also if you clever you can increase or decrease output.

Will cost approx £30 and if you screw up .... send it off to be done

Tech Tips - Stator.

You do have to be handy with a meter and calculator :rolleyes:

It also allowos you a lot of time just sitting there going around and around and around ... quite zen:mchappy:
