34L 55W steering lock
 

Hi
How do you remove the steering lock located on the frame?
I have no key(its not locked)but would like to do a new one or replace that old lock.
Any hint......is appreciated

new ignition switch! ;)

Its not on the ignition key!
Like older 80' its a separate key and you lock it between the triple clamps.
Its located on the left side.

Thought it had the steering lock on the ignition switch.

Yeah, on the side of the frame just like on my DT125R.

There`s a guy down the road from you Karl, he charges US$7.00 and it normally takes him an hour to fix. :thumbup1:

Yes hopefully his moral obligations keeps him on the good side of society.He was damn fast opening that lock.!!!!!
As told in german forum,remove that dust cover by drilling the rivet,turn the key(if you have it)and all pops out easy.
