2010 xtx660 tenere' suspension

Hi Guy's..This may have been asked before:oops2: but! are kits or parts available to reduce the seat height on these fine machines, "dog bones" etc, I'm contemplating on buying a new one but I'm "vertically challenged" 5'8" 28" inside leg so whats the crack?:helpsmilie:
Cheers for now, TDMalcolm

I doubt they will have made any yet as it's a new bike.
Aftermarket kits may come soon.

I bet there are already those parts around as that bike has been around for a couple of years now...

I am not familiar with the frame or shock designs of this bike but the 2010 seems very similar to the 2008 model so I would bet that, if they are the same there will be some lowering links for it...

But good luck finding them!

Hi, i fitted dog bones from an early fazer thou, for a tenner. No probs now. Also xj/diversion ones fit. Dropped the forks 20mm originally, but returned to standard for a better ride. Cheers

Oh yes, by lots of places.

(just for clarity - the XTX is a superMoto, the Tenere is a XT660Z, not to be confused with the XTZ660, which is the original Tenere)

If you want answers to every question you could think of, then the best place to ask this is . : XT660.com The #1 xt660 resource : . | The #1 xt660X, xt660R and xt660Z Tenere resource, more <new) Tenere owners than you can shake a stick at, with just as many modifications to help you along.
