`00 XT600E Shockies

I`m about 98kgs and think the shocks on the `00 model are built for the 50 to 60kgs Japs that build these bike. Just wondering if anyone has replaced there shocks to make the extra weight of a man and his gear more user friendly??

shock

Basically, if you see that bike has too much sag for your weight, it's enough replace spring only with a stiffer one.

If you want to replace the whole shock, best choice is to find used ohlins.

shocking!

Hey, Boofhead! I run Hyperpro shocks front and back: even when fully loaded(myself 95kg, luggage and panniers) much better handling, no diving frontfork! Worth every penny, this investment. Greetz, Hans.
