Hi guys,
Since posting my original query four weeks ago, a miraculous thing has happened - my bike has got lighter! Yes really! When I first got my Marauder, it weighed a tonne and moving it round the garage was a pain in the neck - I could barely control it and if it tipped over, getting it up again was an undertaking of epic proportions. But I was moving it around in my undergound car park space this morning and had a sudden flash of - oh, this thing's light as feather, why did I ever think this was SO heavy?! Another little milestone....:D Jeanie :mchappy: |
What happens is this:
The wind friction removes layers of paint and chrome, hence the lighter weight. :biggrin3: OR: You've gotten stronger and simply more used to the weight. The same thing happened to me. When I first bought the bike it seemed quite heavy and I dropped it a few times. So my muscles grew stronger each time I had to pick it up. Now I can push it around and lift it up like a toy ...well, a big heavy toy. ...Michelle www.scrabblebiker.com |
