hi guys, my mate turned up at work last week on a suzuki bergmann650, what a monster! unless there are problems with economy or reliability it would make a great tourer. i could fit most of what i needed under the seat and maybe fit a luggage rack and topcase.
he won't let me play on it yet but he says it rides very well. ive tried out a honda silverwing600 and that went very well indeed, but on the motorway at 100mph you could almost see the fuel guage move!
very comfortable too.

Interesting thread, didn't see it before :-)

When I was 16, one of my first travels was with a 50cc Aprilia Rally Scooter driving from Switzerland to Italy, Sardegna, and back. But that was much easier than travelling with that 50cc bycicle with motor all through switzerland :-)

Next plan: taking the smallest bike possible and drive it to vladivostok! Who will join me? Maybe in two years or something like that?
