WANXIN Anyone?? Info request.

Speaking of the small bikes debate, you'll be able to guess where I stand.

I'm looking for anyone who might be familiar with the Wanxin brand of Chinese bikes sold in Peru. In particular the WX200-8V. It looks to be a knockoff of the Honda CB1TUF or the GL-150 in Peru.

We are considering buying 2 of these in Peru for a bit of a tour south through Chile. The price is certainly right. I expect the resale value will be nil, but if they are up to the task and reasonably trouble free they might be worth a go.

Advantage over the CB1TUF is price, 200cc vs 125cc, and 5speed vs 4speed.

Any opinions or info appreciated.
