The trip was over 2 years ago now. I tracked our route using a mobile phone and uploaded blogs via GPRS or SMS most days.

sorry to bump this thread but does any one know anything about the japanese rider who did the monkey bike ride ? i found the story in a monkey bike magazine but its in japanese with no English , awesome pics though !

Thats amazing , the japanese are great / crazy people .
i bumped into a young japanese guy heading towards Darwin from Adelaide pushing a barrow with all his posessions .

the bike could be put in a suitcase ,no shipping cost .

they sure are crazy I'm trying to find out about this guy and his adventures for about 6 months now with no results . his story is my obsession !
