R1200GS vs. DL650 V-Strom video's
My friend and I have started buzzing around some great dual sport roads in Utah, and have made some cool videos of our trips. Usually just day rides I thought I would share them here in case any fellow adventures are passing through, and want to check out some nice trails.
Our first video is riding Skyline drive, and branching off on Browns Peak Trail to tie back into the tarmac near Indianola. From Spanish Fork this ride should take you about 2 hours and 40 minutes. For a map of how to take this ride follow this link: Spanish Fork, UT to Browns Peak Tr - Google Maps ail+to:US-89+to:Spanish+Fork,+UT&hl=en&geocode=%3B%3BFfcuYAI dNGld-Q%3BFRxpXwIdCrpb-Q%3BFRBAYgIdg7Ra-Q%3B&mra=ls&via=2,3&sll=39.936066,-111.448746&sspn=0.277988,0670853&ie=UTF8&ll=39.918 163,-111.448059&spn=0.568761,1.2854&z=10 |
Make the home page of advrider
We knew it was going to be tough to get on this abandon train bridge, but that's what it takes to make the front page of advrider, right? We got some great pictures, and had a good time muscling our bikes over the tracks and onto the bridge. The V-strom and a little problem with ground clearance getting over the track, but I'm guessing most V-stroms have a big dent in the headers in that same spot. Just wondering what exhaust youve got on your Vstrom 650? Just im looking at maybe getting a vstrom and can not find too many exhaust manufacturers. |

The un-named trail
Here is a link to another cool video of mine:
This video still makes me laugh. But trust me the video is good. |
One of the most difficult roads I've ridden my GS on. Super rocky made it very rough ridding. It was a miracle neither one of us got a flat tire along this road.
Enjoy |
Got some good footage of me screwing around on my bike, and mixed it with a great version of Ride of the Valkyries recorded in 1921. Hope you like it.
