Budapest to Bamako Rally Race
 

Curious if anyone has done the Budapest to Bamako rally race before ---

What is a recommended bike? I have a Honda Africa Twin - however, I've been told its a bit too heavy for the dune riding and plus I'm not looking to beat up my new bike. Prefer to buy something used and sell or donate at the end of the race.
