Bikes similar to honda tornado 250x/ for Central America trip
 

I'm going for a ride through Central America and want to buy a Honda tornado 250x... or a bike similar to it. Ill be highway riding at no more than 80 to max 100km, some easy trail riding, with about 40 pounds of gear (weigh 175).

I'm looking for a bike that's on the lighter side, in the 250cc range, that's similar to the Honda's capabilities

Any help would be much appreciated!

Not easy to answer as you don't say where you are starting from but I will say Yamaha XT250 if it is available in your home country.

Yamaha XTZ 250 Lander should be an alternative. Its fuel injected so it has an advantage over the carburated Tornado at high altitudes...

In Brazil we also have the Tenere 250, basically is the same bike as the Lander (same frame, same engine, same suspension) but with a more "adventurous" cloth.
