The Bantam is nearing completion, or to put it more correctly, should be back on the road by the weekend, there’s a British Bike and BSA day at the ACE Cafe, in London, on Sunday.
I’ll be putting the engine back together tonight, then back in the bike tomorrow, I’ll get a few shake down runs in before the main event on Sunday. I’m then looking for a tow bar and trial bike rack for the back of the car so I can take it up to the Lake District for some runs around the Fells & Lakes up there, I’d like to bung a tent on the back and do a few nights away for a proper shake down. Then the plan is to take the Bantam and a few other bikes to Wales for a green laning weekend, The Bantam’s bee converted to a ‘Bushman’ green laning trim, so as long as the going isn’t too bad it’ll cope with the odd muddy lane!!
