Tyre availability in Malaysia
 

Anyone know whether there's a good choice of tyre sizes available in Malaysia. We need a 120/90/17 or 130/80/17 rear for a Transalp 650. The current one is looking a bit bald like me, and there's no chance of getting one here in Sumatra.

We'll be shipping the bike into Georgetown from Medan in couple of weeks.

You should not have any problem getting tyres in KL at Sunnys Motorcycles, that is where we got ours, there also are big bike shops in Penang.

There is also a big BMW bike shop in Georgetown too who should be able to get tyres for you.

Or if the BMW-Guys in Penang are out of stock go check out the KTM Store. Also if they've got stock at BMW go check it out. It's a great place just to play around with all the nice toys they got and they even let me play with the bikes ( I guess cause of my bike they wanted to treat me to something propper:clap:).
