Trying to get a transit visa for Turkmenistan
 

For the second year in a row i am trying to get a 5 day transit visa to ride across Turkmenistan.
Last year after alot of effort and approaching numerous embassies i drew a blank.
Has anyone had any luck getting a turkmen visa recently and if so what embassy did they use?
Any help gratefully accepted...

Isn't Turkmenistan in Central Asia???

I tried 2017 in several embassies, Vienna and Teheran, no chance.

2018 we tried Tourist visa and got it.
And we met lot of people on the way who got rejected for transit
