Sharing Iranian "Guide" Costs May 2017
 

Is there anyone in the UAE/Oman interested in travelling together at the end of May/start of June 2017 through Iran to Turkey to share the compulsory costs?

Stephano I understand you only need an official guide if (like me) you hold a British, Canadian or US passport. My departure from Dubai to Africa has been delayed due to some issues with my vehicle's transmission (possibly damaged in transit on the RoRo). If I am still here at the end of May I might make a short trip to Iran, but as a UK passport holder fear I would probably hold you up and cost you more!

I enter Turkey tomorrow and expect to arrive in Van approx 20-25th June.

I am English and currently have no Visa or Carnet, as I'd rather come to the conclusion that the costs were too high.

I don't know if you are doing this trip as a vacation or,are leaving the UAE after some years.
