Route in Pakistan - question

Hello folks
As I know there is one border crossing from Iran to Pakistan in Mirajaveh and then route to Quetta with escort.
But if I will be in Karachi can I drive by Bela, Panjgor, Quila Ladgasth and get border crossing without escort?
I mean is it possible to drive another route back to Iran (not from Quetta)??

You can try, but you'll most likely be caught by police long before getting anywhere close to the border (I was in a local looking car and got caught in a town taking photos). It's a dream trip of mine though, but be sure the roads you see on Google etc actually exist.

To have any chance to do it alone, you'll need to be in a low-profile vehicle (no silly overland stickers / accessories), local style plates, local dress. You won't slip through if you are obviously European looking or have a family with you. You'll need to stock up on provisions so that you can avoid stopping in cities.

Even with all this, my cover was blown in Pasni, but I got a gunman and was allowed to continue to Gwadar (from where I wanted to check if the southern border was open to foreigners - it is not). Perhaps if I'd been really persistent I could have persuaded them to allow me through Turbat and Panjgur to Kharan with an escort, but I seriously doubt it.

But doing it alone, I would say you have basically no chance.

Thank you eurasiaoverland

So it is mean that will be immpossible to do it with my two overland Toyota's. There are rather visibile.
Do you think Karachi is possible?
But then Makran Coastal Highway not possible and only Bela, Khuzdar, Kalat and Quetta??

I used to live briefly in Sindh (Hyderabad), a truly enchanting part of Pakistan. I'm not sure if Karachi's traffic police will stop you - once you are out on the Bela - Khuzdar - Quetta highway there are few checkpoints and they are not used to foreigners, so who knows, maybe you can sneak through. Near Quetta it seems certain you will attract an escort as they watch for foreigners.

I would try to cut up from Khuzdar to Kharan. I was caught quickly in Kharan (there's a neglected old castle) and escorted to Nushki. Quetta us maybe my favourite city in Pakistan, but it seems that foreigners are not allowed to leave the hotel there. Being very, very low profile is the key.

Just try your luck. But like I said, I doubt you will get far without escorts.

Karachi us fun, enjoy your freedom there!

Travelling in Pakistan

Hello Friend!!! hmmmm, its unpredicable specially travelling in Baluchistan. mostly overlanders use N-50 to N-70 end up with Lahore through N-5. The route you are talking about is more difficult and unsafe. if you ask from me I totally recommend you from Karachi take coastal highway till Gawadar, but going further I'm not sure, as police is not happy to see local travellers and don't let them go from there to Quetta without escort. so its seems like un possible.
