well, vietnam just infomred us that we can't cross the border with a 6500cc machine, effectively cutting out the ride through 'Nam to China. also heard from the cruise line that they don't take bikes and don't know anyone who does over that distance. I know all RTW trips don't turn around in S.E. Asia. getting close. You folks have helped so much, just a little more and our trip route is done.

You have probably read by now that China is only possible with an organised tour or a guide and lots of paperwork.

Where do you want to go? Most folk seem to fly their bikes from either Nepal or Dhaka to Bangkok and then continue down Malaysia, Indonesia, East Timor to Australia.
