The road up to Lo Manthang, Mustang, Nepal
 

Hi there,

I just came across an article in a travel magazine about the road to Lo Manthang in Nepal. At the moment it’s an crude unpaved road (the ones we all like!). But according to the article the Nepalese government is planning to pave the road and connect it to China and India. As a result of this they expect mayor cultural changes in the area.

Does anybody know anything about these plans and when these will take place?
