passage through pakistan
 

can anybody suggest the best route from quetta to multan. i see there are two possible routes (via DG khan or via rohri) and wonder what road conditions and safety is like on these routes. we are entering pakistan on christmas day and to anybody helping us, have a very merry one yourself.

Two belgian ladies, Iris and Trui gave a very detailed description for both options, but am not sure where the topic is. So, if you search HUBB for "Iris" or "Trui" i am sure you will find it very informative.

I also suggest you search the travellers' stories for "Quetta" & any other places you are likely to cross. Many people have gone through there recently.

It should be safe, the recent ones had free police escorts, whether they wanted them or not!
