Pakistan - visa / guide

We (with my girlfriend, only 1 bike) are travelling all over the world and the Middle east is coming.
We have no problem to go until Turkey but things will become tricky right after. For Iran it should be good, we have a name to contact and already bought the Carnet de Passage.
But about Pakistan we don't know, we tried to go to our embassy before and also heard a lot a different things. It seems we need a guide and ask for the visas in our own country.
We also heard it is pretty easy to ask for Pakistan visa in Istanbul. So, in the end we are pretty lost.

Does anyone have any information about anything and everything to travel from Iran until India trought Pakistan ? A name of good tourism agency ?

Thank you !

You need to apply in your home country, you will not get it anywhere else as far as I know.

What do you mean by 'your embassy'? Do you mean the Pakistani Embassy in your country? They are the people who will tell you what you need.

I guess others here may be able to recommend a travel agency to invite you. I spent a long time in Pakistan, but thankfully before the visa rules got so difficult, so I can't help you with that.

Bottom line: Don't leave home without the Pakistani visa in your passport.

Iran through Pakistan to India is one of the world's great journeys. Although I loved Iran, Pakistan was the highlight of my 4.5 year trip around Asia. I spent a year there and strongly urge you not to miss it. It is far more relaxing and fun to travel in than India :)

Good luck,

EO

Thank you for your answer !
Yes, i was meaning the Pakistani embassy in my country. But as we saw, they don't always know everything needed (yes I know, it's weird).

So, to you, we really have to get back in France to ask the visas by ourselves ? We can't ask for a friend or a parent ? Also, even the visas' company who manage everything for you can't handle it ?

Thank you :)

You need to ask these questions to the people who make the decisions.

Embassy: 'Do I need to apply directly in person?'

Visa company: 'Can you apply for a Pakistan visa for me?'

etc.
