I leave for Nepal in sept , ive managed to rent a crf 250l my question apart from the usual tourist destinations is there anything I shouldn't miss, apart from the main roads I have found lots of trails on google earth that link up & look quite interesting are these trails worth taking or has anyone got any advice on where to to get off the beaten track.

I would urge you to put the word "nepal" into the search engine showing at top right of your screen - I have written a bit about the country in the past, as have others.

You are channelled by the mountains which cannot be ignored - you'll experience the same.

First we heartily welcome to you land of Himalaya, Nepal. If you are looking for Some interesting place to reach with Motorbike, don't miss this following place.
Muktinath, Jomsom (Best time to Visit: February - June, Sept - Dec)
- Upper Mustang (Best time to Visit: February - June, Sept - Dec)
- Rara Lake

These are the place most of the tourist went their with motorbike to see himalaya closely.

Welcome to Nepal first. I will suggest you new destination to try for the Nepal trip, look for something different trail like Rara, Lomanthang, etc.
