Mountain roads in west Nepal?

Hello,

Looking on my Nepal map (reiseknowhow) I found some roads in higher mountain area. These roads are located north of the main highway witch is leading west from Pokhara to the indian border.

All the roads are displayd as "under construction" gravel/dirt?

Can anybody give me advice if it is possible to travel on these roads?
Reccomendations for "touring" (R80G/S) in this area?

Greetings Heiko

I expect you mean "south" more than "west" (to Naya Pul ?)

Those roads are passable, even on an old GS, for sure. It might not be much fun some times due to diesel fumes and . . . if rain or slides, impassable.

It'd be alot easier on an XR/DRZ, etc.

Construction of all roads toward India is definitely in a hurry-up state as the road thru Upper Mustang continues rapidly and the Indians have concerns about their "Fulda Gap".
