> Toni Rutar has been travelling around the World since 1996. He has earned his
spending money writing software programmes (as
excellent programmer), instructing computer science, playing guitar in the
streets and occasional jobs. He's visited many countries
among them: Finland, Spain, Morocco, Greece, Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Pakistan and
Nepal. His last known residence was in Quetta,
Pakistan. Parents were in contact with him through e-mail ever since 1999 when
he was in Jordan.
> He first came to Quetta, Pakistan for one moth in March 2001. Then he left for
Nepal and came back to Quetta in September
2001. He sent a message from there on September 9th 2001. In Quetta he's been
teaching children computer science in different
parts of the town: Oxford Headway, Satellite Town, ...His nickname given to him
by locals in Quetta was Toni Ingrezi. He sent e-
mail from Internet Caffe every two weeks or so. Last time on April 14th 2002
from Quetta.

> On July 3rd 2002 a visit from officer of Slovenian Criminal police was paid to
his parents in Maribor. He informed them that Toni
Rutar might be imprisoned somewhere in Pakistan. The news was sent anonymous by
e-mail to Interpol not specifying where and
why he is imprisoned. Immediately parents contacted Slovenian Ministry of
Foreign Affairs which started to search for Toni Rutar
by help of Slovenian Embassy in Teheran.

Toni is alive. He was in prison in Pakistan, becouse his pasport expired (Slovenia is changing passports). He is back in live. Say hello to him if somebody is going through Quetta.

I met this guy in Quetta last year. He had a ful beard & wore local garb - looking quite Pakistani! A nice guy. Glad to hear he is well.
