Karakoram Highway

I am looking at flying into Delhi in May and getting a bike and is it possible to go to Pakistan and do the Karakoram Highway and head across to India for the high roads and back to Delhi in a sort of loop , can you even take an Indian bike into Pakistan , any info would be helpful

I've tried to do the same thing.
The short answer is NO.

A foreigner can't register a vehicle in India and can't get a CDP, hence can't leave India with the vehicle.

But I have seen foreigners on Nepali bikes. Maybe this is an option. Nepal is a perfect motorcycle destination. You can do Delhi-Kathmandu in 2 or 3 days depending on your butt. So it may be worthwhile considering this as your entry and exit port!
