hello dear all
i m new here ...
now on the way back home to germany.
you will hear more from me in december this year about travelling by motorbike to kamchatka (russia) and china.

i ve driven more than 8 months in russia and 4 months in china without problems, only friendly helpfull people, especially chinese police.

i did not need special permit for china, i did not have to pay the 200 usd or so per day, no guide, nothing, freedom freedom all over

i d love to go to india from thailand, crossing burma, cheap way ...

all information welcome

otherwise, i ll go to china again, cross india nepal and then pakistan iran turkey ... germany

Unfortunately crossing Burma still seems to be impossible. NO reports of any success yet.

For russian visas out to a year, just contact www.visalink.ru

I would go for a 1 year multi entry visa.
