My question is , is there anyone have ship their bike from Belawan to Penang? and since my bike is small cc :scooter:, would it be a problem?

If anyone have a question about route and ect about Indonesia, feel free to ask :)

Cheers,

Shinta

Email Mr. Lim at cakrashipping@gmail.com. He ships bikes from Belawan to Penang once a week.

Mr Lim and Cakra shipping are very professional and have been shipping bikes for many years now. He got my bike over from Penang to Belawan around two weeks ago and there were not any problems at all. Mr Lim is friendly and helpful and usually responds to email quickly so just shoot him a mail.

Price for me was 609 Ringit on the malaysian side and 1,400 000 rupiah in Belawan.

Shipping into Penang /Butterworth Docks, you will most likely need a Carnet (CPD - Carnet de Passage en Douanes).

The first question Mr Lim asked me before I made that crossing in July 2012 was, "Have you got a Carnet? - Not possible without a Carnet."
.

A Carnet is definetively required.
