India to sri lanka anyone
 
i am trying to find out if it is possible to take the bikes from india to sri lanka? I know there used to be a ferry, but it was stopped for a short period of time, any ideas if its running again?

This has been discussed here before.

So far i haven't heard anyone crossing to Sri Lanka with ferry.

Though, which doesn't mean it's not worth trying it...

Sorry, no ferry yet.
Main problem will be to exit India. I believe 'vehicles' can only be shipped out from Mumbai. You'll have to put it into a container for security too.
Remember that in Sri Lanka max cc allowed is 350. Anything more needs a special clearance from the Defence Ministry, which can take up to 6 months!
Red tape tends to be less than India, but still. Just afraid that the shipping costs could be prohibitive too.

I thought the max was 250? any ways better not travel to Sri Lanka with some thing like that.
