India - Nepal - Taihland

Hi all,

First thanks for this forum where I have found many good tips !!

I am going to do a 4 months trip starting september.

I would like to buy a 350 bullet in India in Dehli, drive a bit in radjastan, then Manali to leh, then direction Nepal.

For this part I think I have found all inofrmation I need in this forum.

But now I would like to know if it is possible to go to Taihland with the bike...

Which border could I cross:

- China Tibet sounds hard
- Burma (with the bike on a truck) sounds more hard
- Ferry from Calcutta to Taihland (don't have find info)

Do you think I 'll have to sell it when I 'll finish my India/Nepal tour or could I hope continue a bit the trip with??

If not possible I will hire a bike in Taihland.

Thanks in advance for your help and tips !!

Shipping

Hi,
The best option for you would be to ship the bike once your done in the sub-continent to thailand.
There are quite a few people on HU who have done it and can supply the details. you could also think about riding into bangladesh and ferrying it on from there.
Cheers.

I 'll look in the forum if I don't find answers !
