Has the April 2015 earthquake had an impact on India?
 

I'm looking for any up to date info on whether the terrible earthquake in Nepal has had an impact on the northern areas of India - in particular the Manali, Leh, Khardungla areas.

It is about this time that the Khardungla pass usually opens. Does anyone know if it is on schedule for its usually reopening, or whether there will be delays?

I'm currently in Turkey, and was en route to India, but a crash last week means a return to the UK, in the next few days. I'd like to finish the trip by,renting a bike in India and riding the Khardungla, but this is obviously only possible if the road is open as per usual.

Any info will be great fully received.

I can answer my own question now. Bike Rentals Manali have said that the earthquake hasn't had any impact in their area - thankfully.
