that would be an option, but from our time schedule we want to do it in August. Otherwise we have to change our plans. Maybe it´s not a clever idea in the rain season to go? We just wrote Mr Tin and asked if it´s possible.

So last call from our side. Is there anybody out there who want´s to do it at the same time in August 2014 ?

Very nice to hear that and would like to hear more about your crossing, especially about if you need any special permissions to enter the parts of India you actually needs to enter going this route.

I'm really surprised to read you need a guide to cross Myanmar. I have been travelling twice for 1 month in Myanmar (2003 and 2006) and never used a guide or agency.

I’m planning a trip by motorbike from Cambodia to Nepal in 2015 or 2016 going through Thailand, Myanmar and India but definitely don’t want a guide in Myanmar. It’s hard to believe you need a guide when travelling by motorbike if you can do this without any problem when travelling by bicycle.
