Crossed The TamilNadu(India) Non-stop Solo !

Hello friends
I'm Kailas,22 an Engineer by profession from Trivandrum, Kerala. I've always been an avid motorcyclist by the standards here from my college days. I'd changed my bike five times (including the Royal Enfield) during those years. Now being a city commuter, with limited time, I was forced to confine myself to more fuel efficient, underpowered ones.
My bike is a Bajaj CT-100, a 100cc, 7.6hp bike. Perhaps it was my discovery of this beautiful location(HUBB) on the web, that made my wanderlust active once again but anyway I ended up starting what I'd consider as the craziest ride in my life.
Trivandrum to Chennai(Madras) in a bike which cannot speed over 70 kph made people believe that I was really nuts.
But I ate them, 825kms in a day! Riding for 19 hrs!! Crossing the longest road axis of TamilNadu through 13 districts. Yes, and I returned to trivandrum making it around 1800kms.
I know these are not astounding figures for most of you. But it was real adventure and a humbling experience. I'll post the travelogue and photos in a few days!
Thank you:scooter:

Well done Kailas, and keep on riding mate.

Thanks for your repiles..Steve and Yogesh
I'll put it on the web in a week. And yogesh, I must say that reading about your journeys inspired substantially to initiate my travel.
(In fact, I was also a pulsarian till 2 years back until it was stolen!)
Thank you:cool4:

Let me upload one of those photographs as a prelude...
Shot in the Tirunelveli District in Southern Tamil Nadu...The Solitary palm among the thorny shrubs introduces us to the aridity of the region...On the backdrop is the mighty Western Ghats along the kerala border clearly stalling those monsoon clouds from blessing this area...

Great going, Kailas, but do it on a bigger bike next time. Those commuters usually have very poor suspensions - make you prone to back problems.

We only come (and go!) with one back. At the very least, pad your seat. It helps.
