I'm sitting in Ile, juts inside the Chinese border, my bike is still at the border waiting processing. Maybe released tomorrow They are VERY particular at this (Korgas) border and its a big, airport style system. Opens at 10:30 local. Closes at 13:00 to 15:30 for lunch and them opens until 19:00.

Do NOT come this way unless you have all the doc/permits.guide etc. Too well organised.

I just found another guide/agent named Abdul. Seems reliable and honest. You can contact him at abdul-yili at yahoo dot com.
He's currently working for 4 swiss in Merc vans that came from Pakistan and will exit tomorrow at Korgas.

Also met a Norwegian guy (Helge) on a 350 Jawa that arrived at the border with ZERO papaperwork and was told to go back to Kazakhstan!
