Big bike tyres in India?

Hi all,
Am trying to find a supplier for big bike offroad tyres somewhere in India.
Either :
Pirelli Scorpion Rally or
Dunlop D908 Rally Raid.
Sizes are 140/80/18 and 90/90/21

These are not easy to find, so am hoping someone might have a reliable contact person in a tyre shop?

Am not interested in other brands or models, (these are desert race tyres). Am happy to order and pay in advance, will need them in April next year.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Dean.

I don't think you will find these in India. I needed a new rear tyre for my bike in India and stopped at a triumph garage but they do not stock tyres anywhere. I ended up getting a spare rear from a friend of a friend of the dealer who had a spare set he previously had shipped in from Singapore. They were over £200 each as the import duty is so high.

You would probably be better getting some shipped to an address in india by a friend, or carrying some.

Good luck, hope you get sorted.

Maybe contact someone here

Or as I have , contacted the tire manufacturers that support that area.

If you are limited to just those, take them in as you go.

Tired india

India is big, not sure where you will be but I got tire's at : Joe's Racing Garage In Bangalore. I don't usually recommend mechanics, but Joe knows big bikes. Also has a large collection of racing trophy's. He is always busy, so be patient. I travels and brings in his stock ..

Cheers !!

There's a Triumph dealership in Delhi might be your best bet.

Lots of KTMs here, but only 300cc street bikes. Don't go to a KTM or (in my experience) a Yammy/Honda dealer expecting service there of any kind; a big bike is as foreign to them as one for another company.
