Shipping to Australia
 

Hi
Could someone advise me whether it is better to ship an SUV vehicle going to Australia
- from either Malaysia or Singapore?
- what port is best to ship to in Australia either Darwin or Perth?
- a recommendation for a shipping company (and name of person) in either Singapore or Malaysia please

I'd aim to ship from Singapore, since it's one of the ports with most traffic.

I think this depends primarily on your plans in Australia. If doing a complete "lap" then request quotes for both from the agent. If mainly WA then Perth makes more sense, if mainly NT then Darwin.

We haven't shipped this route, however did ship to (and from) Brisbane and used Colless Young in Brisbane as the receiving (and later, sending) agents and they did an excellent job (jim@collessyoung.com.au ).
