ship 2 bikes to stergus
 

hi am new to this, wish to get 2bike to US for sturgis am flying in to rapid city any one got info that my help do not now how to use the hub yet, so am not shore how to get the reply back of the hub doh

The Hubb is huge! And it is even more than 'just' the Hubb.
Towards the top of the page are some blue bar thingys .. this is where the 'FAQ' is. You want 'ON THEN ROAD' - On the Road | Horizons Unlimited then read through the sections there about shipping ... including 'Shipping Dos and Don'ts' and 'Actual Shipments by travellers'.

Rapid City might be the closest major city to where you want to get too.. but that may be expensive to fly the bikes to. You many be better off selecting an air transport hub - this means the bikes will fly cheaper and they won't be transferred between so many planes (less likely to be damaged). Riding the bikes to Rapid City can be a good part of the trip.

I don't know where/which 'cardigan' you are in .. put your country there if you want.

Warin is correct, I'd ship into Denver and ride out to Sturgis ... day or so ride.

OR ... you could RENT bikes and ride there. You could go expensive and rent Harleys or BMW's ... or go cheap and cheerful and rent Triumph's, Vstroms or Versys.

Leave your own bikes at home. You just don't need them there as you'll mostly be ON FOOT once actually at the Sturgis party (goes for about a week)

It's funny, thousands of Harley guys transport their bikes to Sturgis in a pickup or trailer them. Funny. They unload them outside of town ... then ride back and forth around town all day! doh This has to get really really boring! :rofl:

Once you've been to all the bars and bought your fill of Black T shirts and leather chaps and got all the Tattos you need ... DO take advantage of the beautiful riding in and around the Black Hills of South Dakota.

I worked on a movie there ages ago ... spent two months, saw it all ... when Strugis happened ... we had to leave town. Too chaotic for us City folk :D
