Hi guys and girls,
I have been getting into trail riding over the last few years, riding a heavily modified Harley Davidson MT350e, and an XR650L.
I have always wanted to go on some long distance road trips, America, Mexico, and Canada have always been an ambition.
I am now faced with a time restriction as I have rapidly developing arthritus in my hands, knees, and feet. With this in mind I have decided to investigate my options and join your forum.
I hope to be able to sell most of my stuff over the next few months, and start posting my adventures on here.
Is there a classified section I can sell my XR650L?

:welcome: LiS - North America is definitely the place to start as it is relatively easy traveling to get started. There is a For Sell section here as well. A good option would be to fly and buy here. Have you thought about a sidecar rig if you are concerned about your health. May take a while to get used to though.

Thanks Black beast, i have tried sidecar outfits, and came to the conclusion that they would radically shorten my health..:rolleyes2:
The problem I have is not riding a bike, only riding for long distances at a time.
I like your idea of buying/ renting a bike, but love the idea of having loads of pictures of my own bike and stunning scenery in my old age.:mchappy:
I will deffo take up the idea of north America as a starting point, I visited Vancouver once, and never wanted to leave.:thumbup1:

Hi, I have just been over to France and took the opportunity of asking a Yamaha dealer about the value of a Yamaha 600 dirt bike, road legal. It was double what the UK value is! I'd look into this with your bike too. I was told that registering it in France would be, "Less than that", when I suggested £500. Lindsay.
